Books I really need to read!! ...

Hey there guys, so today I thought I'd tell you guys the books I've been dying to read but just haven't got round to doing. One because I'm a slow reader and it just takes me so long to read a book and because I've borrowed the Fallen series by Lauren Kate from my friend and I've had them for over a year and I thought I'd better read those. So my reading list has been put on hold for quite a while which is really sad and annoying because I love books and I want to buy more but i can't until I read the ones I have *Sigh*. But anyway getting onto the books...
So these are on the very top of my list, they are Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl, The knife of never letting go by Patrick Ness and Divergent by Veronica Roth. Don't judge me for not reading them yet, I brought them a while ago and just haven't had the time to sit down and read them and I'm desperate too!! I haven't watched the film of Beautiful Creatures yet becasue I wanted to read the book first and I know everyone has read Divergent but I kid you not I'd had on my shelf since the beginning of the year!! So sad... but anyway I'm really excited to finally get to read them and I shall start them within the next few weeks because I'm still finishing the Fallen series off (Like I said REALLY slow reader over here) but these are the ones I'm most looking forward to read. The books in the pictures are the ones that I own but I'm going to mention The Fault in our stars By John Green and Me and Earl and they Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews I don't own these but I'm desperate! Like dying on the floor from wanting these, of course everyone has read The fault in our stars and I haven't so it's very sad and depressing but it's on my list to buy and I haven't heard too much about Me and Earl and the Dying Girl but it sounds so incredible I just have to have it!

Next on my list are these three, Rapture by Lauren Kate which is the last book in the Fallen series so I'll be reading this one first just so I finish the series and can give them back to my friend, Withering Tights by Louise Rennison and Angel Fire by L.A. Weatherly. I've read the first Angel book and it was good but it took me a while to get into but I'm going to give the second one a shot just to see if it's any better than the first one. I'm not sure about the Withering Tights one because I haven't read any of Louise Rennison's books because I was never into reading when I was younger so I just didn't read them and now I'm older I want to read other books but I might just read it to see if I like it or not but I don't know if it follows on from another book I'm not sure.

The last book I own that is on my "to be read" list is the second book in the Wolf Springs Chronicles By Nancy Holder & Debbie Viguie which is called Hot blooded, the first book is called Unleashed and I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading this one and the covers are so pretty! It's usually the covers which make me pick up a book to read, if the cover isn't the best it puts me off which is why I love a good book cover haha.

But yeah that's about it I mean I have a list of 22 books that I need to buy but I don't own them so I can't read them yet, and so that is my to read list for the rest of this year. I hope you enjoyed this post and me sharing a few books that I'm going to read, I think I'll post a "Series I've read" post because although I'm a slow reader I've gotten through a few books over the past few years :) But anyway thanks for reading guys I'll speak to you next time byeee xx

It's my Birthday in less than 7 days!!...

Hey there guys, so it's my birthday in less than 7 days and I'm gonna be 16!! I can't believe it, this year has gone so fast and as well as my birthday I go back to school in less than 6 days and this is an important year as I take my GCSE's this year and everything is just going so fast. It feels like yesterday I was just starting High school and now I'm in my last year like what? How is that possible?!! It's quite scary growing up and my mum keeps telling me to get a job and I just don't want to grow up so fast. I have little brothers and a little sister is on the way so I've had to grow up anyway to help out as I'm the oldest and that's what happens to the oldest child but I love my mum and family to pieces, but it's just so wired and scary that I'm gonna able able to drive next year, like actually have a car and drive! Aaaahhh!! What does time fly so fast? I've had a good year this year and made lots of memories with my amazing friends and recently I found out who I can rely on and who I can't. But I'm going off topic here.... anyway back to my birthday..... although it's my 16th I'm not having a "Sweet 16th party" because my mum is pregnant and she's due any time now and I didn't want to put any stress on her sooo I get to go SHOPPING!! :) Whoop and I'll hopefully have lots of money to buy lots of new clothes, I mean come on who doesn't like clothes? And I'm going to have a small dinner with my friends after my birthday to celebrate. But those of you in America who are turning 16 and planning your sweet 16th party make sure you have a blast and make some memories, we only turn 16 once!! :) I'm just keeping small after having two parties for my 13th and then 14th I had a girly night with my girls last year so life isn't bad just because I'm not having a party, to be honest I'm not the biggest party animal anyway. I really don't know where I'm going with this so I think I'll stop haha...... anyway if you birthday is coming up Happy Birthday from me I hope you have a good day, thanks for reading and I'll see you soon :) xx

How to make a Crab Plushie ....

Hey there guys, so the other day I went to the crafts shop and brought a load of felt and buttons and glue and all sorts because I love crafts and I've recently gotten into making plushies, if you don't know what a plushie is is basically a small stuffed object. Yesterday I made a green pea and a crab so I thought I'd show you how to make it. So lets get started...

You will need:
Felt- red, white
Thread- red, black
A needle
Some stuffing
Scrap paper
Pencil

So the first thing you need to do draw this template out on the scrap paper, I didn't use any measurements for this plush so you can just draw it however big or small you would like it.
The next step is to draw the oval shape on the red felt AND the white felt, you then need to draw two claws on the red felt and six legs also on the red felt. It should look something like image number 2.
Once you've drawn the template onto the felt you can then start cutting them out.
It should look something like image number 4.
So line the pieces up like this so you know where there going to go, this just makes it easier to sew them together.
After lining the pieces you need to take your needle and thread it with read thread.
This is to sew the legs and the claws onto the red oval piece so it looks like image number 6, I used a back stitch to sew them on and they were small stitches so you can hardly see it.
After you've sewn on the legs and claws you can then sew on a face using black thread. Once you've done that get the oval white piece of felt and line it up with the back of the crab. You then use red thread to sew the pieces together. Leave the top section open so you can stuff the inside, make sure you put as much stuffing as possible, the more stuffing the better. Once you've put the stuffing in you can then sew the top up as well.
And it should look something like this, I hope you enjoyed this new type of post I'd like to do more of these as I really enjoyed it, leave a comment telling me what you thought about it and I hope you give it a try! Thanks for reading byyeee :) x

Results day yesterday ...

Hey there guys, so yesterday was results day and because I took 3 subjects early I had to collect 3 results. They were Maths, IT and Textiles. I was incredibly worried about Maths and IT as I struggle a lot with both of these subjects. I was also worried about Textiles because my work wasn't consistent enough which was the feedback I got from my teachers about my artwork and textiles, so I was panicking a little as I can retake Maths next year I can't retake Textiles. So I had my fingers crossed.
I went to school with my friends and collect the dreaded brown envelope. I opened it and became very nervous. I looked at the pieces of paper and they revealed that I got a C in Maths, a C in IT and a C in Textiles. So I was ecstatic about Maths and IT because I really thought I'd failed them but I passed with a C but I'm a bit disappointed in Textiles because I wanted a B in and I know I could have done it but the classes were after school till 5 every Thursday and we had to put a lot time and effort into it, which also made me more disappointed. But I can't change it and I couldn't do anymore and I did pass so I'm grateful and proud but still a little gutted. As the rest of my exam are this year I am determined to get good results, I have another 8 subjects to complete one being art and I really want to get a good mark!! So yeah, anyway thanks for reading this and all my other ones it means a lot to me, follow my blog with Bloglovin if you would like and if you got your results yesterday let me know what you got and in what subject I'd love to know to congratulate you. Byeeee x

Attempting to write a Story/ Book ....

Hey there guys, so since watching one of Katytastics videos she inspired me to write a stroy, now when I was younger I used to write stories all the time BUT I never finished them and still don't today. So what I am going to try to do is write and finish a story. Now in some of Katy's videos she tells you how to plan and structure a story properly so I'm using some of her ideas to see if it going to help me write it and finish it. I have only just started planing it and don't know what it will be called or what is going to happen really but I have a rough idea which is better than nothing. I'm in the process of creating all my characters and have thought of 5 so far, Bethany is the main character whose mother is Carol and has Alzheimer’s and Bethany's father Dave passed away. Daniel is another character who Bethany will meet and Tony is his brother who is fighting in the army. These are the characters I have so far and I have wrote a MASSIVE paragraph in my plan on each one saying what they like what they don't like, the background story, there personality everything I could think of and as much detail as possible.

Now as I love to write and use my imagination I usually get bored of it and forget about ti but I really want to try hard to finish it even if it takes a year or more, I shall keep you updated on my progress.
Below is Katy's youtube channel where I found the videos, thanks for reading this short post about my hopes to write a full story and I shall see you next time, bbyyee! xx

Inspiration has struck! ...

Hey there guys, so today I decided to finish my artwork as I go back to school in two weeks and I hadn't done any, so I've just spent the last half hour spray painting and finishing bits off, I'm now waiting for them to dry so I can add notes and then I'm done! Which also means I can take pictures of the finished project and put it into my art tab at the top so you lovely guys who are taking the time to read this can see how it turned out like.
I always struggle with how to start a piece of work, because there are layers that you add on top so it looks more interesting and you want to look at the piece your doing. SO when I'm stuck of staring at a white canvas I take to youtube to see what other people do and it really helps me and youtube tutorials has also helped me with my drawings and I've found different types of art that I didn't know existed.
Also I get my results on Thursday and I find out what grade I get for my Textiles GCSE, I'm getting nervous because I put so much time and effort in to it that I just hope it paid off!! Fingers crossed I get a good grade, one that I'm proud of anyway :) If your expecting any results this year like me I'd love to know what subjects they are and how your feeling about it. I still have another year before I complete all my GCSE's which I am dreading!! But thanks for reading and good luck if your expecting results, byyee :) x

I was lucky enough to see 2 One Direction Concerts!!! ...

Hey there guys, so I was wondering what to talk to you guys about today and I was looking through some of my photos and saw the one's from the One Direction Concert I went to in March and realized I hadn't done a post on it, so here it is a very long overdue post about the beautiful boys of One Direction..

So earlier this year, Saturday 23rd march to be precise, me and my two friends went to Birmingham, LG Arena/ The NEC. When we arrived it was snowing and very cold, there were so many people there and you could feel the buzz as you got to the entrance. As we walked in the number of people there tripled and it was like I was in a sea of girls! No a sea of Screaming Fangirls!!

So the support acts were 5 Seconds of Summer and another girl I think her name was Caroline or something but we missed her anyway. But I love 5SOS because as soon as we found out who the support acts were we youtubed them and we all loved there music so much and they're great performers and sing amazing live!

Josh Devine aka Drummer!!

My favorite Picture!!

The boys put on such an AMAZING show and I was lucky enough to go twice when some people didn't even get to go once. I'm so grateful that I got to go.

LIAM'S ARM!!

FIRE!

CONFETTI!!

Once they had finished performing they all took a bow and as I took the picture Liam, Zayn and Harry stood up and Niall and Louis we're still bowing which really irritated me!

Doing this post made me think of a program I watched about "Directioners" and I would class myself as one because I have the posters and the calenders and I've been to the concert twice got a T- Shirt and the tour book but the fans on this program literally followed them everywhere. I mean Iunderstand that everyone wants to meet their favorite boy band but when you show up at there house, in my opinion it's a little too much and is crossing the line on to stalking. It makes me feel sorry for the boys because the girls were angry when the boys didn't go out to meet them but they shouldn't have to like if everywhere they went they had to stop and meet fans they'd get nothing done! And yes the fans wait for hours and hours but that's your choice, you chose to wait there with the slightest hope of meeting them. The boys can't meet everyone it's just impossible. Yes there career is down to the fans voting for them in X factor buying the merchandise and showing up to the concerts I don't deny that one bit but they gotta have some sort of privacy I mean come on give them a break girls. But I'm gonna stop there because there are so many more things I could say about the very Passionate Directioner's but it would take all day so anyway I hope you enjoyed looking at the photos I took from the concert and please go check out 5 Seconds of Summer if you don't know who they are and follow me on bloglovin to keep upto date with when I post because I never know when I'm going to post. Just depends on my mood, but yeah thanks for reading guys byyeee :) x
