Exercise is bad for you ! ......
Hey there guys, so today I've done so much walking it kills! I went training at 10 'o clock this morning and walked home at 12, which was around 3 to 4 miles I think and I did that within an hour. I then decided to walk to the shop (The range) because I need some spray paints for my art work. So I walked there with my friend, which is around 1 to 2 miles, to be told that you have to be over 18 and have ID to be served. At this point I was rather frustrated so I rang my mum to see if she could come down to help me..... She said no! I was rather annoyed because now I had to walk back. I wasn't wearing the appropriate footwear and now my feet really hurt. I'm absolutely exhausted and I didn't even the the spray paint so it was a waste of time :(. On the upside I'm going tomorrow to get some with an adult haha :) just a little summary of my day today as I haven't posted in a few days. Thanks for reading bye x

Upcoming posts ....
Hey there guys, I just wanted to tell you about the posts coming soon, I'm working on getting all my art and projects together so that I can show you my creative side, I have just started a new project and am taking pictures of the steps so if you would like to see that I will post it for you. I take GCSE Art and I've just finished my GCSE Textiles and have tones of art work that I can show you when I get it back from being marked, so that will take longer than the stuff I do at home, but I just thought that I would share some of the stuff I'm proud of and maybe inspire some of or get ideas. If you know any creative arty blogs leave the link in the comments I'm always looking for inspiration. But that's about it really thanks for reading and keep checking back to see if there up yet, bye :) x

Going to watch The World Championships at Eton Dorney!! .....
So today I went to Eton Dorney to watch the World Championships and it was very windy!! I had such a great day, and saw Helen Glover and Polly Swan win the Gold in the Women's pair. We also took part in the 30 second ergo challenge which is the picture to the right ( I'm in the pink top if you were wondering) and I came 6th in the top 16 of that category. I then got a British rowing band so I was happy :)
I took loads of pictures and videos and decided to share them with you, I don't know how to get them side by side yet so if any of you wants to tell me if that's possible I would appreciate it a lot. Hope you enjoy the collection, I picked out the best ones and tried to get the GBR team as much as possible but it's very tricky to see who is who. So thanks for reading and see you next time bye :) x

Not a Happy Chappy :( ....
Hey there guys, recently I have not been in a very good mood because of various reasons, and I have lots of unnecessary stress at the minute so I just decided to do this post to try to reassure myself and hopefully things will be okay. It's really frustrated me because I had been in a good mood at the start on the week and then things just got bad and then went to worse. I don't want to go into to much detail about it because I don't want this post to be a really negative one, I'm trying to make myself positive about my situation after all, and so I'll just skim the edges. As you know if you've read my blog before, that I row and I really enjoy rowing it's one of my passions at the minute, I just love to row, and recently there has been a change in crews which I'm not too happy about and so I'm trying to see the bright side of it. Bu like I said before there is a lot more detail than just a change in crew, I'm not that petty :), but I guess this is going to push me to work harder and to try to push my new crew into training as hard as we can, and for myself I might even try a single. Which by the way is petrifying!! Maybe this has given me the push I really need, maybe this is God's way of showing me that I should go "solo" to prove to myself that I can do it (even though I don't particularly believe in God). But yeah I guess what I'm trying to say to you and to myself is even if we don't like something you can't just through a tantrum and expect to get what you want, it just doesn't work like that.... sadly. So I've just got to be the bigger person and accept what the cards have given me, which is to not a lot to be honest but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger ...... right? anyway thanks for reading my slightly depressing post and I'll speak to you next time, hopefully on a much happier note x

May / June Favorites type thing ...
Hey there, so I know I haven't posted in a while but I've been mega busy and hadn't had time to plan or think of anything to write about and so I've literally just decided to do a May / June favorites collection because I have quite a few products that I love at the minute and wanted to share them with you, and yes I know it's a bit late for May and a bit early for June so I mixed them together.
So the first thing I absolutely love is a candle that I got from a a shop called Home Bargains, I think this is only in England so you may not be able to buy this specific one but there are Yankee candles in this scent. The scent I chose was "Fresh Linen" you may think I'm crazy but I love the smell of clean washing and when my room smells like it, it's just fab!
And it's also VERY big and I wouldn't say heavy but heavier than normal candles, it cost me £3.99 which is great for the size of it. The colour also looks really pretty and when it's lit makes my room look lovely.
I thought this picture with the flame looked pretty cool :)
The next products are what I've been using on my hair. My hair is very important to me not because I'm vain but because I want to look after it and try to do as little damage as possible. So I rarely straighten my hair and very little curl it, I mainly curl it if I'm going out because the curls tend to drop out when I used to curl it for school, and plus it takes FOREVER. So I mainly plait it when it's wet and sleep with it in plaits and in the morning it's a kind of crimped look but it's so simple because then I just grip the front half back a little so it's not to wild and out of control and I'm good to go.
So I use the VO5 plump it up heat protectant spray before I dry my hair and when I straighten it, I love this product because it smells so nice and fruity and also add a little volume in your hair, which for someone who rarely back combs is great. The next product it Schwarzkopf supersoft volumising mousse, this is great for adding volume and keeping your hair nice, I don't use too much because if you add to much it makes your hair go all funny and that's not what you want so just a little on your palm rub together and rub into your hair and your good to go. The last of my hair products is this styling wax from Morrison's, now I didn't buy this my mum brought it for me because I was moaning my hair wasn't very smooth and I couldn't find a product that smoothed out the wispy bits and she came home with this and I love it, it makes my hair nice and soft, reduces wispy bits and feels great! I would recommend all of theses products for any type of hair.
Next on my list is moisturizers! Now I'm the kind of person who has quite dry skin and so moisturizing is quite important for me, and I have found that the body shop body butter works best for my legs and arms, I personally prefer the strawberry one because it smells delicious and makes my skins all soft and lovely. For my face I use the Dove silky moisturizer because I picked it up at body care because it was cheaper than boots, again I'm not sure if Body Care is only in England but I'm sure you'd be able to get it in boots, the price in Boots was I thin k around £5.00 and I didn't want to pay that much when I could get it for half price at Body Care. But the product itself is great, I use it on my hands and face and I have noticed a massive difference on my face, it's a lot less dry and feels so soft and smooth, I would definatley recommend it to anybody with dry skin.
The last in the favorites are perfume! I'm a big fan of perfume but I'm very fussy when it come to it, I have so many bottles I've lost count and I don't wear some because they're too strong and I just can't wear them, but these ones are by far my favorites. I have worn these for such a long time and I'm still not even half way through them. The pink and blue bottles with the diamond type circles in are the Brittany spears Midnight and Fantasy. I don't know how much they cost because I got given them as a present a few years ago and I'd forgotten about them till a couple of months ago and then I started to wear them and just love the smell, also they stay on for most of the day, I spray it on my wrist in the morning and I can still smell it in the afternoon, which I think is really good quality.
The other favorite of mine is Taylor Swift Wonderstruck!! As soon as I found out that she had a perfume out I wanted it so badly and I begged my friend to get it me for my birthday and she did but it was a surprise, I think this bottle cost £20.00 and it's a small but it smells divine and I try to conserve it because I love it so much!! I would definitely recommend this it's just amazing and I love it :)
So that's it for my favorites this week, next time I may add my favorite movies and food and things but this was kind of last minute so I didn't really have a chance to find them things, but thanks for reading and speak to you next time, bye x

Racing at Trentham!!! .....
So in my last post I mentioned that I was going to be racing, well yesterday was the day and I had such a blast! I had to leave my friends house at half past 7 in the morning to be there for 8 'o'clock. We were very very tired and I was very nervous, my race was at 10:29, I know very specific, but that meant that I had to register with all the other girls I was racing with. So we met up at the boats and had a walk around to see where we were and if we could find any of our coaches. At this point it was around half past 8 to 9 o'clock and we bumped into our coaches, we then went to registration and got our number, we were number 68 and Georgia had to have it on her back.
We then had a bit of time to kill so we walked up to watch some of the races and cheer on our fellow club members. The sun had started to come out and it had begun to get very hot! Some of the lads had won their races and we were going to be racing in the same boat that they had used so we were hoping for some luck :).
It was now time to go take our boat down to the water and get ready to paddle up to the starting line, we all got in with Me at Stroke, Chloe at 3, Ellen at 2 and Georgia at Bow. We had a Cox as well, Adam. So we said goodbye and our coaches and everyone wished us luck and we nervously started to paddle down when Adam wasn't sure which way to go and I didn't know either so we just guessed and went down a pathway. Then we felt a bump and was not moving anywhere anymore and then I realized that we had 'crashed' into the bank of sand. Adam didn't go the right way after all. We all tried to get ourselves out but it was no use we were well and truly wedged in. I turned round to find the launch boat very very slowly coming to rescue us. When they eventually got to us they through a rope and tried to pull us out, but we were too wedged in and we didn't move, so one of the men resulted to getting out and pulling us himself. This then meant that we were slightly late for our race and had to paddle faster than we would've liked. We were very grateful to the people who helped us!
When eventually got to the starting line we were told to line up but the umpire was talking through a megaphone and I couldn't hear a thing he was saying so it was very difficult and added to my already ton of nerves. We were lined up and ready to start, he shouted " Come forward, attention.... GO!" as soon as I heard that my nerves went and I was focused and ready to go, rowing as hard we could making sure our technique and rate was good we rowed down the course. Our opponent was in the lead which made me nervous and determined to beat them. The race was 750 meters but it felt like forever! One of our coaches was running down the side of the bank and I could hear him cheering us on, this helped me loads and I pushed as hard as I possibly could. You don't realize how fast it is and when you mess up it can cost you the race, luckily we didn't mess up but we weren't fast enough and our opponent won the race. We were 4 lengths behind but we didn't mind because it was our first ever race and we wanted to get experience, although it would've been nice to have won :).
When we finished we congratulated our opponent and paddled back the side to get out of the boat. My arms were really hurting and I was very tired, we'd raced so well and we were all very proud of ourselves and now we're more determined to win the next time we race. Sadly there weren't many pictures taken because I was so busy rowing and cheering everyone on that I forgot to take photos but I have one to show you guys what we looked like :)
Thank you so much for reading this, I had such an amazing day yesterday and although we didn't win We were all very proud :) bye x

Preparing for my first Race!! ....
So in two days I am competing in my first regatta! I am so nervous but very excited and can't wait for this experience. There are two heats before the final, if we (me and my crew) win our first heat we go to the second heat and if we win that we go to the final, but annoyingly the winner stays on so if we win both heats we don't get a rest and get keep going!! Not looking forward to that at all but I do really want to win. The day after the race I am going to upload a post with the results and pictures of the day, I'm not expecting to win as it's my first competition I'm just going for experience and to have fun. This was just a little update on my life and what's going on and what I'm going to post, it will be a more interesting one that I hope you will all enjoy to read, you'll also find out a bit more about me :) thanks for reading x

Who's glad summer is finally here? ...
I am so happy that summer has finally come around, I don't like the cold and definitely prefer to be in shorts with ice cream and cold drinks! and of course getting a tan, I always find it a little awkward for the first few week of summer though because mine and I'm sure many other peoples are very pale and when you first wear shorts you have to decide whether to wear tights or maybe use fake tan, but most of the time I brave the pale stage of summer. This year I have managed to burn my legs :( As I row 4 days a week, the Sunday just gone I put my shorts on but didn't put any sun cream on as my legs don't usually get any colour and I thought I'd be fine, turns out I was wrong and am suffering with the consequences. The most embarrassing thing is that its just the front part then it fades back to pale so I'm all a bit mishmashed at the moment :/ oops. But my most favorite thing about summer is ice cream and fruit, I love ice cream especially strawberry (I know not very adventurous) and I absolutely love fruit when it's in season, like pineapple is just to die for!
But besides food I think summer puts people in a good mood and makes everyone happy, which is nice and is probably why people look forward to summer so much because you can do things and go out, go camping, goo for picnics, anything. Everything is just so much better in summer, even school is slightly more bearable. So anyway they were a few of my favorite things about summer I'd love to know what yours are in the comments below, thanks for reading :) x

A box of memories (part 2) .....
So this is the second part of my memory boxes, in this one I have my exam results so far because I'm proud of what I got mostly and wanted to keep them as a reminder of the hard work that went in to get them and how I can do better next time.
I have my badges in here because my 15th was spent at school and it was amazing, I got amazing presents and people wishing me happy birthday when I passed them, it was just a really nice day, and I had a big !3th &14th party so they were pretty good too.
I think it's really good to have a box or a book where you can just keep little treasures from days or moments you have so when your old and grey you don't forget them and you can look at the things and say "Yeah I remember that" so there we go just a little note from me, thanks for reading :)

A box full of memories (Part 1) ....
I decided to make a memory box because I was doing lots of things with my friends and school that i wanted to remember, I have lots of little nicknaks from them days but had no where to put them. So I saw this box in my room and thought it looked nice and decided to fill it with all my nicknaks that I'd collected from days out, or trips away.
One very good memory I have was when I went to France & Belgium with school. We went on the coach at like 8 o'clock in the evening and drove throughout the night till we reached the ferry dock place (I can't remember what it's called). We got on the ferry which took us to Dover I think but I'm not sure. After a while of looking around the ferry I was really tired and ended up falling asleep on my friends lap. When we had to get off the ferry people were trying to wake me up but I'm a very deep sleeper and it took a lot of people to wake me. This had to be the longest travel journey I had ever done because you couldn't get much sleep on the coach and I didn't get that long on the ferry so I was a bit grumpy like everyone else.
Another memory I have put in the box is the wrist band from when I went Ice-Skating. This was the first time I'd gone and I was very excited but very nervous, I'd always wanted to go but I'd never had the chance to. It soon turned into a disaster because I fell over backwards and hit my head very hard on the ice and got concussion. I then spent the rest of the session sat out with ice to my head which then started to melt and drip from the bag. Since this disastrous experience I refuse to go again! well that's just a couple of my memories stay tuned for part 2, thanks for reading x
